Jack Thurston

VP, Marketing

Jack is an accomplished financial services marketing and communications executive with over 20 years of experience driving new business and market share through comprehensive marketing initiatives. As Vice President, Marketing, Jack leads all aspects of marketing and communications for ButcherJoseph, from go-to-market strategy and driving brand awareness to lead generation and sales enablement efforts to support the firm’s business development process.

Prior to ButcherJoseph, Jack was Chief Marketing Officer at Livingstone, an M&A and debt advisory firm, where he built and led the organization’s global marketing and communications strategy and team, overseeing all marketing initiatives, brand, digital and content, PR, and media efforts. He also spent parts of his career with William Blair, BAI and LaSalle Bank, leading marketing efforts for the investment banking, wealth management and ESOP teams.

Jack was recognized in 2022 by Small Business Monthly as one of St. Louis’ Top Veterans in the Workplace.

He serves on the board of directors for Volunteers of America of Illinois, and holds an MBA in Marketing and Management from the University of Illinois, and a BA in English from Eastern Illinois University.
