Keith Butcher

Managing Partner

Keith Butcher co-founded ButcherJoseph & Co. in 2011 as a national investment banking firm focused on advising business owners on sale transactions to strategic or financial buyers and ESOP advisory. Throughout his career, Keith has advised corporate clients and private equity groups as an investment banker or attorney in more than 150 transactions.

Prior to ButcherJoseph, Keith joined Morgan Stanley & Co. in 2002, serving as an advisor to closely held businesses focused on middle market mergers and acquisition advisory services. Previously, he was an attorney practicing corporate tax, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and employee benefits law with a focus on ESOP transactions. Keith also previously served as Executive President of Purcell Tire & Rubber Co., leading the company’s corporate development efforts, and held a seat on the board of directors.

Keith earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from Bradley University and holds a JD from Wake Forest University.
