Joseph Strycharz

Managing Partner

Joe Strycharz co-founded ButcherJoseph and leads the firm’s capital advisory practice. Joe has completed more than 100 M&A and capital raise transactions over a 25-year career.

In 2000, Joe joined Morgan Stanley & Co., where he led a group that provided ESOP M&A advisory services to institutional clients in a variety of industries. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he was a First Vice President at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York focused on trading and asset management. His investment management experience includes managing in excess of $600 million of a long-only equity and fixed income portfolio for companies, offshore trusts, non-profit organizations, family offices, and high net-worth individuals. Joe also previously served as Executive Vice President of Purcell Tire & Rubber Co. and held a seat on the Board of Directors.

Joe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Penn State University, where he played football and was a member of the 1986 national championship team.
