ButcherJoseph & Co. (“ButcherJoseph” or “the Firm”), an investment banking firm specializing in ESOPs, mergers and acquisitions, private capital sourcing and valuation advisory services, announced the promotion of two professionals.

Patrick O’Neil has been promoted to Vice President. Patrick has served as an integral member on deal teams for a wide variety of transactions over the years, including sale transactions to strategic and financial buyers, capital raising, employee ownership transactions, and strategic advisory assignments. Patrick joined ButcherJoseph after successfully completing the Firm’s internship program in 2015.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Princeton University, where he was the captain of the varsity soccer team.

Tristan Tahmaseb has also been promoted to Vice President. Tristan will continue to play an active role on the Firm’s deal teams, actively participating in or leading sale transactions to strategic and financial buyers, capital raising, leveraged ESOP buyouts, and recapitalizations. Tahmaseb holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Harvard University, where he was a member of the varsity football team.

“It has been a pleasure watching both Patrick and Tristan develop into some of the best young M&A professionals in the industry,” said Joe Strycharz, Managing Partner. “Their contributions have been integral to the success of our Firm and our clients. We look forward to Patrick and Tristan’s continued success as they take the next major step in their career development.”
