Tristan Tahmaseb

Director

Tristan advises privately held businesses on mergers and acquisitions, ESOP transactions, capital advisory engagements, and strategic consulting assignments. His practice is particularly focused on ownership succession transactions for founder- and family-owned businesses, and he has advised on more than $3 billion of transaction value across multiple industries.

He was named an Investment Banker to Watch by Middle Market Growth in 2023 and has also been recognized as an Emerging Leader by The M&A Advisor. In 2022, he graduated from ACG St. Louis’s Emerging 20, a leadership development program for professionals in the M&A community.

Tristan is active in the employee ownership community as a member of the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) and The ESOP Association (TEA), where he serves on the Finance Advisory Committee.

Tristan joined ButcherJoseph after graduating from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and lettering for four years on the football team.
