Cindy Maloney oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations and maintains consistency throughout its financial and operational infrastructure.  

She joined ButcherJoseph in 2025 with over 20 years’ financial and operational leadership experience in corporate and nonprofit sectors. In her role, Cindy partners closely with firm leadership to oversee financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, and operational infrastructure that supports the firm’s growth and client service objectives.

Cindy is known for her ability to modernize finance functions and improve visibility through systems and process improvements. She has led multiple ERP and payroll implementations, streamlining workflows, strengthening compliance, and delivering timely, actionable financial insights to executive leadership. Cindy has extensive experience building and mentoring accounting and operations teams while also overseeing key human resources and benefits functions. She is recognized for her integrity, attention to detail, and pragmatic approach to aligning finance and operations with organizational strategy. Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Management from Maryville University in St. Louis and completed Becker CPA Review coursework. 

She has been a member of the National Notary Association since 2020.
