Butcher Joseph Hayes is pleased to announce that Jeffrey S. Buettner has joined the firm as a Managing Director.  Based in Chicago, Mr. Buettner will focus on originating opportunities for the firm and managing transactions through the BJH process to closing.

Mr. Buettner will leverage his experience to assist clients with assessing company value, analyzing corporate restructuring alternatives, and advising on ownership succession.

Mr. Buettner comes to BJH with more than 15 years experience performing valuations and financial advisory services for a variety of purposes, including Employee Stock Ownership Plan (“ESOP”) transactions and annual ESOP updates, fairness opinions, solvency opinions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate planning, business and security interest valuations, and financial restructuring.

Prior to joining BJH, Mr. Buettner was most recently with Stout Risius Ross (“SRR”).  During his nine years with SRR, Mr. Buettner served as a Managing Director in the Valuation & Financial Opinions Group providing financial advisory services in a multitude of industries.
